The staff is really wonderful. They make you feel at home, are extremely helpfull, friendly and knowledgeable about the surroundings. They where happy to help us plan some of our trips in the surrounding area. The location is quit and remote (with only a winebar across the street, see friendly advice) but within minutes you are in San Donato or on the chianti route. The place itself has a lot of facilities, wonderful swimmingpool with amazing view. The room was clean, well equiped and quit large (and we had the smallest one).

Très beau cadre. Les enfants et les grands ont beaucoup appréciés la table de ping-pong et le baby-foot, tout comme la piscine.

Une salle de bain peu pratique et une cuisine très petite pour manger à 4. Attention aussi à l\'escalier très raide.

Très bonne situation géographique pour découvrir les incontournables de la Toscane ( Firenze, Siena, San Giminiano...) ainsi que la région du Chianti Classico. L\'accueil des proprio est sympa sans être pesant. Très belle vue surplombant la campagne environnante depuis la piscine.

Nous avons regretté de ne pas avoir eu un appart de plain-pied et le bruit de quelques enfants surexcités dans la piscine...

Nice spot and near a lovely restaurant. Saw 3 wild boar!! Pool area and games room were nice for families with small children.

Uncomfortable, impersonal living space - Ok for a family with small children but virtually no space for a family of four virtual adults to relax - We had no choice but to go out!! Glad we only stayed one night. Wouldn\'t recommend it. Sunbeds around the pool were plastic and uncomfortable. It didn\'t have a friendly community vibe.Everyone kept themselves to themselves - ODD!

Located only 30 minutes from Siena and 40 from Florence via the \"free\" motorway with local supermarkets and villages (San Gimignano, Poggibonsi)within a few minutes - Great! Above average accommodation overlooking the valley and vineyards with a wonderful pool and facilities - Great! Two wonderful hosts in Franco and Sylvia who are full of local advice and assistance whenever required. The group pizza night was very special and unfortunately our last night there - Fabulous!!

A slight negative is that the drive from the \"free\" motorway is only about 7 minutes long but it seems to take longer due to the narrow winding road. Be prepared for it, persevere it is well worth it!!

The nearby restaurant was too often full. I recommend reservation although it is not always easy when you are on vacation. Would appreciate using the washing machine past 6PM

We were completely satisfied with our stay here. The owner was very friendly and helpful, the accommodation clean and relaxing. It\'s quite near to Florence, so if anyone has a car, we would definetaly recommend staying here and visit Florence or other locations. Kitchen is provided, so we cooked during our stay. It was lovely to go to the early market to get fresh vegetables and fruits that are grown locally. If you would like a real Toscana experience, we definitely recommend this place!!!

View from the pool as beautiful as any in Tuscanny. The owners, Franco and Silvia, are so gracious and helpful in every possible regard. They go beyond the beyond to make your stay the greatest possible pleasure. Washing machine, drying racks, iron, etc a must for us. Convient secured free parking. Lovely guests stay there, most from Europe. Many are regulars, as we intend to be!

We extended our stay to 20 days in June when we saw the beauty.The weather was glorious until the last 4 days, when the heat wave struck Italy. There is no air conditioning, so even with paddle fans and/or floor fans, it was a bit hot for us. The free WiFi was on a back patio, not in each apartment, but not a problem.

The \"Highlight\" of our trip in Italy was our stay at this property.Our highest praises to the most gracious hosts...\"Sylvia and Franco\". Both were extremly accomodating and the facility and the fantastic scenery were all above our greatest expectations. We thorougly enjoyed our first experience at staying at a Agriguriturismo Facility...5 Star for the both of us.

Absolutely none....we had prepared our trip with detailed maps of the area and the instructions from Franco made the journey from Rome extremely easy.

This was a great base for our explorations of the Chianti area of Tuscany. Franco was very accommodating, giving us recommendations for day trips before and during our stay. It was also very nice to have access to the two washing machines - they weren\'t too difficult to figure out. It was also surprisingly quiet considering there were other guests on the property.

Coming from California I was expecting a bit more in terms of wine tasting in this region and wish I would have done more research on this. Also, beware of the safety cameras all around Chianti while driving. It helps to have GPS so you know when you are approaching one.

The kitchen could have had more appliances and serving dishes as we liked cooking in at least once a day either breakfast or supper.

This place is perfectly located for touring Toscana. We had our best night sleep in Italy at this property, located alone on a top of a hill, offering wonderful views on wine and olive cultures. We used our kitchenette every day, well equipped with everything you need. Beautiful pool with plenty of space for all guests to relax in a private space. Best deal for the buck in our entire stay in Italy. We will come back for sure !

The only negative point: we should have stayed a week, instead of two nights only.

The owners were very helpful with maps, directions, etc. The views and relaxing on the patio out by the pool was so nice. We enjoyed being able to cook some meals and get to so many hill towns from our location.

The kids wished we had internet in the apartment.

Gazing at Tuscany from one side of the pool at Castellina in Chianti 45 never became old. Our hosts were a very warm and accommodating couple, who put their all into what they do. This was our favorite place to stay.

This accommodation was lovely and the owners were very kind. In fact, the house was even nicer in person than it seemed on the website. There was a pool, laundry, ping-pong table and small \"library\". We woke up to lovely panoramic views of Tuscany each morning. It is set in the heart of the Tuscan countryside near many vineyards.

I have nothing negative to say except that wifi would\'ve been a plus. The owners were kind enough to let us use their computer though.

The place was even better than the photos. We were welcomed by Franco and Silvia with maps of the area and suggestions of places to go. They even offered to book reservations for us! The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Each night after touring around we would come back to the place for a swim, make our dinner in the kitchen in our room and then eat it out on the patio by the pool while watching hte sunset - it was absolutely perfect! Lots of little wineries to visit in the area which was perfect!
